OpFlex AutoTune, a product within the Combustion Versatility solution suite, is designed to automate combustion tuning. Proper combustor tuning is essential to maintaining regulatory compliance, extending gas turbine hardware life to reliably generate power and revenue. GE's OpFlex AutoTune technology combines Model-Based Controls (MBC), an advanced control software platform leveraged from GE's aircraft engine business, with field-validated combustion models. MBC uses real-time turbine simulators to enable continuous tuning of your combustion system with parameters checked 25 times per second. OpFlex AutoTune enables uninterrupted operation over a wide range of fuel variation, and during transient conditions to provide operators with improved reliability and confidence.


GE was the first to develop a self-contained, automated DLN tuning system. Today, GE has more than one million hours of automated tuning experience and more than 130 OpFlex AutoTune systems in operation globally.
