Breakout Session 2 - Flexibility Solutions

GE recognizes that having flexibility- in various forms- is one of the key success factors for power producers in Europe today, and tomorrow. Our regional team also understands that your needs differ considerably depending on country(ies) of operation, plant configurations and fleet footprint. This session will foster engaging discussions around Europe’s most important flexibility challenges including grid fluctuation and rapid demand volatility. We will review key drivers of operational roadblocks that you experience in today’s market, and collaboratively discuss solutions- both technological and strategic- solving those issues over the short and long terms. Our dialogue will also examine innovative commercial and financial solutions that GE can deliver to help expand your flexibility from a business model perspective. We will address how in today’s industry climate, being able to tap into this kind of financial flexibility can open up new opportunities for growth and more competitiveness.

14:30 - 15:45

Breakout Session 3 - Environmental Solutions

With so much emphasis in our region on the role environmental policy is playing, this session will take a deep dive into conversations around being highly competitive as a power producer in our market by turning your approach to emissions compliance on its head. We’ll explore how to be more profitable while adhering to current regulations, and remaining that way as future policies take effect. You’ll have the opportunity to rate your most pressing environmental concerns, and discuss with GE experts solutions that enable you to efficiently align your operations with emissions standards, and do so without jeopardizing your power commitments. We’ll examine system-level technologies that cost-effectively address your emissions compliance needs, and can position you as an environmental steward among your customers and other stakeholders as well.
